Dublin Port Host the Launch of OUTRAGE by Fishamble
11 November 2024
Dublin Port recently hosted the launch of Fishamble: The New Play Company’s nationwide tour of OUTRAGE by Deirdre Kinahan, directed by Jim Culleton.
The play was originally hosted in the DPC Pumphouse in March and April 2022. The launch event was held in the Substation at Dublin Port, during which cast members Naoise Dunbar, Caitríona Ennis, and Mary Murray performed an extract from Outrage, offering attendees a glimpse into the world of the play, which is set during the Irish Civil War. This was followed by a discussion on the historical context of the piece with playwright Deirdre Kinahan, Fishamble’s Artistic Director and CEO Jim Culleton, Fishamble’s Literary Manager Gavin Kostick, and Dublin Port Heritage Director Lar Joye.
OUTRAGE is now on tour around Ireland. For a full list of tour dates see www.fishamble.com/outrage
