Temporary Closure of Great South Wall

Met Eireann have issued status yellow wind and rain warnings for Wednesday 27/09 https://www.met.ie/warnings/wednesday

Winds are predicted to be strong and gusty ranging between 25-55 knots veering westerly as the day progresses, these winds will be associated with heavy rainfall.

As a result pedestrian access to the GSW is closed during the date and times listed below:

• 08:30 Wednesday 27/03 – 08:30 Thursday 28/03

The above closure times will continue to be reviewed and adjusted if necessary over the next 24-48hrs.
