TEMPORARY CLOSURES IN PLACE AT DUBLIN PORT: 19th & 20th February 2021

Public Notice from Dublin Port Company

Due to high winds and high tides for Friday 19th to Saturday 20th February 2021 Dublin Port Company will temporarily close public access to the Great South Wall from the following times:

 

Friday 19th February: 16.30hrs – 23.59hrs

Saturday 20th February: 11.00hrs – 19.45hrs

 

The Great South Wall closure is due to tide height and dangerous winds on the exposed wall surface. Southerly wind due with gusts of up to 60 knots predicted.

 

Shipping & Container Terminals

Delays to some shipping activity and pilotage services is likely, including possible delays at the port’s LOLO container terminals, i.e. where containers are loaded and unloaded by crane.

Peel Ports MTL Container Terminal on Pigeon House Road is closed for the remainder of today Friday 19th February 2021.

Please contact individual container and ferry terminals direct to establish their status.
